Our story

Mixmix—inspired by halo-halo

Mixmix is inspired by halo-halo, a Filipino shaved ice dessert layered with textures and flavors, meant to be mixed together and enjoyed as one. We started with halo-halo at MyTindahan, right next door. What began as a simple dessert stayed with us—the act of mixing everything together, turning separate parts into something better. That idea became Mixmix. Not just in the food, but in the feeling. A place where people come together, share a table, and feel like they belong. Different backgrounds, different stories—all in one space, easy and unforced.

Modern tropical

We’ve always been drawn to the calm that living things bring. Plants don’t try too hard—they just shift the mood of a room. That’s the energy we built around. Mixmix leans tropical, but quietly. Deep greens, softened light, and warm tones that feel sun-washed instead of staged. Nothing loud, nothing themed—just a space that feels easy to be in.

    Greenery sits naturally in the room, never taking over. It’s there to soften the edges, to keep things open and breathable—so conversations can stretch without distraction.

    No neon, no overstatement. Just balanced color, clean light, and a focus on what’s in front of you. Drinks and dishes are treated with care—simple, composed, and meant to be noticed without trying.

    Everything is considered, but nothing feels formal. From how things are placed to how they’re served, it’s all meant to feel clear, calm, and human—comfortable enough to settle in, refined enough to feel special.
