Mixmix Cafe ("Mixmix Cafe," "we," "us," or "our") operates mixmixcafe.com and the text messaging program described in this policy. This page explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We collect only what we need to run a neighborhood cafe: taking your order, answering your question, and — if you asked for it — sending you a text. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers for marketing.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact details you give us — your name, mobile phone number, and email address, for example when you sign up for text updates, place an order, or send us a question.
• Order and visit details — what you ordered, pickup or catering preferences, and any notes you share with our staff.
• Message content — the texts and emails you exchange with us, plus delivery status reported by our messaging provider.
• Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view on mixmixcafe.com, recorded in standard server logs.

We do not collect payment card numbers on this website. In-store and online payments are handled by our payment processors under their own privacy policies.

We use the information above to:

• Send the text messages you signed up to receive, including promotional updates and messages you specifically request.
• Respond to questions, orders, catering requests, and reservations.
• Operate, secure, and improve mixmixcafe.com.
• Keep records of consent and opt-outs, and meet other obligations under applicable law and mobile carrier rules.

We do not use your mobile number to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Mixmix Cafe sends text messages only to people who have asked to receive them, and our messages come from (502) 237-8674 — not the cafe's main line. You opt in on our rewards and survey page by entering your mobile number and asking us to text you the survey. Marketing offers are a separate choice: an optional checkbox, unchecked by default, beside the number field. Printed QR signs in the cafe link to that same page. Consent to receive marketing text messages is never a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. We text only when there is something worth saying, and you may also receive one-time messages you specifically request, such as an order, catering, or reservation confirmation.

Message and data rates may apply. Messages are delivered through your mobile carrier, and your carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to every message you send or receive. Mixmix Cafe does not charge a fee for the program itself — check your plan with your carrier if you are unsure of your rates.

How to stop. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. We will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will not text you again unless you sign up a second time. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and can be affected by your carrier, device, or coverage.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information are subject to the sharing described elsewhere in this policy.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services. Those providers — our messaging platform and the mobile carriers that deliver each message — receive your mobile number solely to transmit messages on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We never sell or rent mobile phone numbers.

Outside of the mobile information covered above, we share personal information only in these limited situations:

• Service providers — hosting, messaging, email, and payment vendors that process information on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed to provide their service.
• Legal requirements — when we must respond to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our guests, our staff, or the public.
• Business transfer — if Mixmix Cafe is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. Mobile numbers collected for text messaging remain subject to the statement of non-sharing above.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

mixmixcafe.com does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — including IP address and request details — to serve the site and protect it from abuse. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page before we turn it on.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Pages on this site also link to third parties such as Instagram and Google Maps; once you follow one of those links, that company's privacy policy governs what it collects.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, plus any period required by law. Records of your text messaging consent and any opt-out are kept for as long as we operate the program so that we can honor your choice.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted delivery of this website and access controls on the accounts that hold guest information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
• Withdraw consent to text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• Be free from different treatment for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first so that we do not disclose information to the wrong person.

Our website and text messaging program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly enroll a child's mobile number. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and any material change to the text messaging program will be described here before it takes effect.
